November 6th 2025, I visited the beautiful Warley Woods near Bearwood, a fantastic woodland and park, consisting of three areas, the dense woodland section amongst the fabulous autumn trees, the large grass open space and the civic park area.

There was so much to see, a great variety of trees, a maze of paths to explore, birds, berries, fungi, amazing colours and textures. It’s clearly a very popular dog walking place. The civic park section has wider paved paths, a children’s play area, some ‘standing stones’ and even exercise machines.

If you are in need of some ‘headspace’ I highly recommend a visit to this great park which is only a few miles from Birmingham City centre!
