27th August 2026, I visited the Kent town of Folkestone.
I started off with a walk along the Leas Promenade from the stainless steel arch to the Leas Cliff Hall.

I then went down the fabulous Zig-Zag Path to the Lower Leas Coastal Park.

The park leads to the beach and there were some great views of the town and it’s amazing architecture.

I had a look around the harbour and then went through the old station for a walk along the main harbour wall out to the lighthouse. On the way back I got some photos of the lovely views of the beach and town.

I finished off with a walk along the colourful Old High Street known as the Creative Quarter.
