12/13th August 2026, I visited the incredible Traeth Llanddwyn, Niwbrwch, Anglesea, Cymru (Wales).

Arriving in the evening for a one night camp, I headed straight down to the beach (Traeth Llanddwyn) to capture some evening scenes.

Followed by an attempt at some astro-photography.

In the morning I headed down again and took a walk along the forest path to Ynys Llanddwyn, an amazing tidal island. Once the tide was out enough, I waded across for a trek to the lighthouse.

Along the way I took a lot of photos! There was so much to see and the scenes were a photographer’s dream. Below are a few examples with many more in the full gallery.

I even managed to get a nice photo of a butterfly!

On the way back along Traeth Llanddwyn I came across a couple of horse riders who went out a short distance into the sea and then galloped back, an enchanting moment!

Traeth Llanddwyn and particularly Ynys Llanddwyn are so with a visit!
