Starting at Kidderminster, I rode the train to Bridgnorth after capturing some photos of the station.

During the ride I captured photos from the train and interior photos of the carriages.

Arriving at Bridgnorth I captured some of the scenes before taking next train back to Highley Station where the Engine House museum is situated.

The Engine House was so worth visiting! I particularly enjoyed seeing the postal carriage.

After a lunch in the on-site cafe I took a walk along the river through the Severn Valley Country Park.

I went up to the park’s visitor centre and had an affogato coffee before trekking over to the Country Park Halt on the railway to go back to Kidderminster on the train, the carriage I travelled in was particularly nice, a beautiful art-deco style.

I also had a fascinating chat with the gentleman operating the brakes and other things, he kindly allowed me to take his photo.

I highly recommend spending a day out on the Severn Valley Railway!
