28th February 2026, Threshold Aero held a special photographers event at Wellsbourne Mountfield Airfield in Warwickshire. I went along with some friends to see the Avro Vulcan Bomber XM 655.

It was a fantastic day! We were given access to the airfield itself to get up close and personal to this magnificent aircraft, preserved by the XM 655 Maintenance and Preservation Society.

We even experienced one of the engines being run up and stayed for some dusk and night photography.
