14th March 2026, I visited the fabulous Dudley Zoo and Castle. There is a fantastic array of animals to see, extra stuff for the kids like play areas and rides. The castle with cafes and lovely grounds also has a main tower with the top accessible for amazing views across Dudley and even the skyline…
I have updated my 2026 Birmingham city skylines gallery with additions taken from Barr Beacon near Walsall (above), Sutton Park, the Kingstanding Road and Edgbaston Reservoir.

28th February 2026, I visited the National Trust Charlescote Park and House in Warwickshire. I Only had a short amount of time to walk around the house and gardens but managed to get some nice photos. 28th February 2026, I visited the fantastic Midland Air Museum at Coventry Airport. The amount of outside planes to see was amazing! I even got to go inside the cockpit of the Avro Vulcan Bomber they have there. The interior displays were fascinating and awe inspiring, lots more planes to see as well as great…
