30th July 2026, I was delighted to attend the launch event for One Eastside in Birmingham! It was a great evening with drinks, food, and entertainment, held on the 49th Floor.

Of course I took the opportunity to get some photos of the city from this amazing vantage point from the top of this 150m tower, although I only took my iPhone, I was able to get some great shots that look quite good after some software processing, the light was super, especially as the sun started to set.

From the terrace on the south-east side the shadow of the building was stretching far to the distance, below showing it ending near the Birmingham City Football Club stadium, St Andrew’s, exactly a mile away.

Also clearly visible was the ongoing construction of the Curzon Street terminus for HS2.
